    IRC WIN Programme Sign-Up Form
  • Sign up for employment support from the International Rescue Committee (IRC)

    This programme supports:

    • Refugees and asylum seekers (with the right to work) to build confidence and skills for employment in the UK
    • 6 online Job Readiness Training (JRT) sessions – understand the UK job market, create a CV and cover letter, apply for jobs, and prepare for interviews
    • Up to 3 months of one‑to‑one online employment support
    • Additional workshops (online or in‑person) on CV/cover letter drafting and interview practice 

    Eligibility:

    • English language skills – able to communicate about work history and goals in English and join employability training
    • Status – Refugee status, Humanitarian protection, Limited leave to remain, Indefinite leave to remain, Asylum seeker with the right to work
    • Living in England

    If you need help improving your English before joining our programme, you can contact:

    Local colleges and adult education centres – many offer ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses.


    Jobcentre Plus / Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) – they can guide you to ESOL provision in your area through the District Provision Tool.


    NATECLA (National Association for Teaching English and Community Languages to Adults) – a national body supporting ESOL learners and teachers, with information on courses and strategy.


    The Bell Foundation – provides resources and guidance for learners and organisations supporting English language development
