Healing Classrooms are safe and nurturing learning spaces where children affected by crisis and conflict can learn, grow and thrive.
IRC offers a 3-module Basics Course or a 5-module CPD Course. Both cover IRC's global approach to trauma-informed education: the Healing Classrooms Approach. The CPD course offers two further sessions focusing on trauma and trauma recovery for forcibly displaced people. This training is appropriate for every member of staff in school and others who work with refugee children and youth in the wider community.
Our conferences can focus on a range of key topics appropriate to refugee education and wider resettlement. Each conference is planned to meet the bespoke needs of guests attending.
